Legendary guitar maker Fender has announced the release of a new signature Stratocaster model in collaboration with musician Steve Lacy. Called the "People Pleaser," this new guitar features a built-in fuzz circuit that allows players to easily achieve Lacy's signature distorted sound.
A Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter and guitarist, Lacy is best known for his work in his band The Internet and his solo career. His unique approach to guitar playing and production has made him a sought after contributor in the music industry.

The Steve Lacy "People Pleaser" Stratocaster features a lightweight alder body, a modern "C" shaped maple neck, and a rosewood fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets. This guitar features three Custom Shop '50s Stratocaster pickups with a 5-way switch for a variety of tones.
What sets this guitar apart from his other Stratocaster models, though, is the built-in fuzz circuit. This circuit is actuated by a push/pull knob on the guitar's volume knob, allowing the player to easily switch between clean his sound and distorted sound without the need for an external effects his pedal.
